The very first incarnation of the Art Doctors, prescribing work in the British Art Show 8 in Leeds and then on the exhibition’s tour to Edinburgh and Norwich.
We loved that so many people in the street or just visiting the cafe were really keen to talk with us about art. Just giving people a prescription and permission to think and say whatever they liked about the art works made a big difference to how confident visitors felt about engaging with contemporary art and talking about how they felt or what they thought afterwards.
