Projects

HATCH projects can take many forms, from large scale festivals like WOVEN to more intimate interactions with the Art Doctors. Underpinning everything we do is a commitment to consultation, collaboration and discussion that leads, where possible and appropriate, to co-produced projects and events that have a long term legacy.

  • WOVEN in Kirklees

    The first WOVEN festival took place in June 2019 and it is a celebration of innovation in textiles across Kirklees.

  • Art Doctors

    The Art Doctors playfully break down barriers to participation in the arts, and explore the positive role of creativity in all our lives.

  • Park Here and Play

    A family play festival in Victoria Gardens, showcasing the community programme of Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds Libraries and the Henry Moore Institute.

  • Discover Work

    Discover Work is a Kirklees College and Dewsbury secondary schools project, inspired by the installation of Antony Gormley’s WORK

  • WOW Rotherham

    HATCH supported Community Producers at Flux Rotherham to deliver an amazing Women of the World festival.

  • On Yer Bike

    Working with Capital of Cycling, with support from Bradford 2025's Creative Communities Fund, on this ongoing project that tells the cycling stories of three different cycling communities.
