Nat

Nat is an arts education consultant and project manager with over twenty years experience of working with museums, galleries, festivals, touring exhibitions and national and local partnership programmes. She has held various senior positions in major arts organisations across the UK, including Head of Learning at The Hepworth Wakefield and at Yorkshire Sculpture Park on an interim basis.

Nat has substantial experience of establishing and nurturing local and national partnerships, as the National Community Coordinator for the British Art Show 8 & 9, and as Learning & Outreach Manager, National Partners Programme for the Arts Council Collection where she worked with partner venues across the UK to develop innovative learning programmes and to raise awareness of the “people’s collection”.

Nat is the Vice Chair for SPARK, Wakefield’s Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP), a cultural consortium to deliver high quality arts and cultural provision for children and young people across the Wakefield District.

In 2024 Nat was successful in being voted as an Elected Member (Cllr) for Wakefield and was appointed Deputy Portfolio Holder for Culture, Leisure and Sport. 

Nat has led on the WOVEN in Kirklees Festival, Wakefield Murals (Gateways and Crossings) community consultation, WOW Rotherham and GLAMCares.
