WOVEN in Engage Journal: Biennial by the People
Engage is the lead advocacy and training network for gallery education. We were asked to write an article about WOVEN and HATCH’s approach to biennial development and programming.
The result is Biennial by the People: place based cultural development through textiles at WOVEN where we discuss turning the model of a traditional biennial on it’s head by starting with people and engagement practises rather than curators and contemporary art.
Engage is a subscription only journal, but until 31 July 2020 you can enjoy free access through their website.
