Alison Appointed as Visual Arts Instigator at Bradford Producing Hub

I’m delighted to announce that I’ve been appointed as Visual Arts Instigator at Bradford Producing Hub (BPH), where I will be supporting visual artists and organisations with a needs-led approach to developing a thriving and successful cultural sector across the district.
For the first six months I will be talking to as many visual artists, across all art forms and at different stages of their careers, and organisations as possible, to find out what they’re doing, what they feel they need, and what they feel the sector needs, in order for them to thrive.
After that I will write up what I find out and we will start trying to find ways that BPH, and partners across the district and nationally, can develop programmes and projects that meet those needs.
It’s a brilliant organisation to be involved with and I’m looking forward to getting to know the community much better and how HATCH and Art Doctors could play a role there.
