WOVEN in 2020: development of online resources
At WOVEN we are focusing our attention on what we can offer our communities and audiences online, though our website and on social media, now that our most of our planned partnership events for 2020 have been cancelled or postponed.
During our online Open Planning session on 2 April, we asked people to tell us what they would like to contribute and see as online resources and these are some of the ideas that were proposed:
- – Workshops, demonstrations or talks from textile artists and makers – activities people can try out at home
- – Filmed tours of mills and textile businesses.
- – A commerce section where we can list Kirklees-based textile artists and makers who are selling online.
All new content will be published on the WOVEN webiste and we’re looking forward to bringing our communities together physically again once it’s safe to do so.
